GETTING A JUMP START

The two Multi-Apps are designed to be used standalone, eg energetic folk may wish to walk the whole of the Cotswold Way while less energetic folk may just want to drive. However we anticipate that the vast majority will be interested in both, at least at the Planning Stage, so we designed Cotswolds-in-the-Car to "network" with the Walking Routes.

Also the Circular Routes are very convenient to use in conjuntion with Car Routes as they don't require transport back to the Start point while including many "snippets" of the Cotswold Way.

The map below shows the juxtaposition of the two Multi-Apps in their common areas.

The sixteen YELLOW markers show the Start/End points of the fifteen Cotswold Way Sections (for clarity the tracks themselves are not shown in this map) and the Circular Walks are shown by the twelve GREEN tracks.

Then Car Routes 4 to 7 (RED and ORANGE tracks and icons) roughly follow the Cotswold Way from Chipping Campden to Bath. Car Route 3 joins in the North at Chipping Campden and Car Route 8 joins in the South at Bath while the two PURPLE Link Routes join at Winchcombe and Wotton-under-Edge to provide three "Sub Circuits".

The top circuit includes three Sections of the Cotswold Way and three Circular Routes all along Car Route 4.

The middle circuit includes eight Sections of the Cotswold Way and six Circular Routes all along Car Routes 5 & 6.

The bottom circuit includes four Sections of the Cotswold Way and three Circular Routes all along Car Route 7.
